The IIEC–IUBAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center successfully organized the Intra-University Innovation Competition 2026 on July 25–26, 2026, bringing together students from across the university to demonstrate their creativity, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial potential.
The two-day competition provided a vibrant platform for students to present innovative ideas, develop practical solutions, and engage in healthy competition across a variety of disciplines. The event featured ten exciting segments, including Project Showcase, Poster Presentation, Soccer Bot, RC Racing, Line Follower Robot (LFR), Idea Pitching, Business Case Study, Truss Competition, Seismic Challenge, and Hackathon. Throughout the event, participants demonstrated their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and innovative thinking while addressing real-world challenges through creative projects and technical solutions.
The competition concluded with a prize-giving ceremony recognizing the outstanding performances of the participants. Winners from each segment received prizes and certificates in recognition of their excellence, innovation, and dedication.
Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, Vice Chancellor of IUBAT; Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor; Professor Selina Nargis, Treasurer; Professor Dr. Md. Momtazur Rahman, Registrar; and Brigadier General Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain (Retd.), Controller of Examinations, visited the competition during the event. They interacted with participants, observed the exhibition booths and project displays, and encouraged students in their pursuit of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. Faculty members, officials, staff, and students were also present, contributing to the vibrant and collaborative atmosphere throughout the competition.
The IIEC–IUBAT Intra-University Innovation Competition 2026 reaffirmed IUBAT's commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning by providing students with opportunities to transform ideas into impactful solutions and prepare themselves to become future innovators and industry leaders.
