The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM), and Le Méridien Dhaka was successfully held on 25 June 2026 at Le Méridien Dhaka.

This MoU marks a significant milestone in strengthening the academic–industry partnership between CTHM of IUBAT and Le Méridien Dhaka. The collaboration aims to enhance academic excellence by creating opportunities for student internships, industry training, practical learning, research collaboration, and career development in the hospitality and tourism sector

On behalf of IUBAT, the ceremony was attended by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, Respected Registrar, Prof. Dr. Md. Momtazur Rahman, and Chairman of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM), Dr. Mohammad Badruddoza Talukder, along with faculty members and university officials. Representing Le Méridien Dhaka were General Manager Mr. Constantinos S. Gavriel, Director of Human Resources Mr. Emamul Haque, and other members of the hotel's management team.

The colorful signing ceremony, graciously hosted by Le Méridien Dhaka, provided an excellent platform for fostering stronger collaboration between academia and the hospitality industry. The event reinforced the shared commitment of both institutions to developing future hospitality professionals through industry exposure, experiential learning, and professional excellence.
