Miyan Publication Reward-2025 Successfully Held at IUBAT

The prestigious ‘Miyan Publication Reward-2025’ was successfully hosted by the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) on its campus. The event, held on Saturday, March 8, at 1:30 PM in the university’s conference room, recognized faculty members and researchers for their outstanding contributions to academic research publications.

The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Professor Dr. Sajal Saha, Director of the Miyan Research Institute. The Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT, Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, presided over the program. Also present at the occasion were Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman and Treasurer and Executive Member of the Miyan Research Center, Professor Selina Nargis.

Distinguished attendees included Dean College of Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Monirul Islam, Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences Professor Dr. Md. Shahidullah Mia, and Dean of the College of Business Administration Professor Mozzafar Alam Chowdhury, Registrar Professor Dr. Md. Momtazur Rahman, Controller of Examinations Brigadier General Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain (Retd.), along with other esteemed faculty members and researchers.

This year’s Miyan Publication Reward ceremony honored 108 researchers for publishing a remarkable 365 research papers. Among these, 150 were published in ISI-indexed journals, 134 in Scopus-indexed journals, 57 in Scopus conferences, and 24 in IUBAT Review Articles. To encourage and support further research endeavors, the Miyan Research Institute awarded approximately BDT 4.5 million in recognition of the researchers’ contributions.
