IUBAT Krishnochura Organizes Cultural Celebration of Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti 1433

Dhaka, 29 July 2026 — IUBAT Krishnochura celebrated Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti 1433 with a vibrant cultural program titled "Through the Melodies of the Monsoon" at the IUBAT Open Auditorium, paying tribute to the timeless literary and musical legacy of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.

The celebration brought together faculty members, officials, staff, and students in an atmosphere filled with music, poetry, and artistic expression. The program featured a series of captivating performances, including Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, recitations, dance performances, and other cultural presentations that highlighted the rich heritage of Bengali literature and culture.

Faculty members and students actively participated in the event, showcasing their talents through inspiring performances that reflected the enduring influence of the two legendary poets. Their enthusiastic participation made the celebration both engaging and memorable for the audience.

Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, Vice Chancellor of IUBAT; Professor Selina Nargis, Treasurer; Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor; and Professor Dr. Md. Momtazur Rahman, Registrar, attended the program alongside faculty members, officials, staff, and students.
