International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) organised the “Miyan Publication Reward 2026” at its own campus. The event was held on Tuesday (April 28) at 12:30 PM in IUBAT's conference room. At this program, recognition was given for the contributions of faculty members and researchers in academic publications.

The welcome speech was delivered by Professor Dr. Sajal Saha, Director of the Miyan Research Institute. The program was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT, Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, and attended by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman.

Also present at the event were Professor Dr. Dewan Muhammad Nuruzzaman, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Professor Dr. Utpal Kanti Das, Dean of the IUBAT School of Computer Science and Engineering; Professor Dr. Mozaffar Alam Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of IUBAT Business School; Professor Dr. Md. Momtazur Rahman, Registrar; and Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. Md. Jahid Hossain, Controller of Examinations, along with other faculty members and researchers. 

This year, a total of 176 researchers were honoured for 690 research publications under the Miyan Publication Reward program. Among these, 257 were indexed in ISI journals, 192 in Scopus-indexed journals, 209 in Scopus conference proceedings and Scopus book chapters, 5 in Scopus books, and 27 in IUBAT Review articles.

IUBAT continues to work consistently toward improving the quality of research, and such recognition programs are expected to further inspire researchers to contribute more significantly in the future.
