On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, international students, members of the IUBAT Nursing Society, and faculty members from the College of Nursing and the Department of Public Health, IUBAT, participated in an exposure visit to Bangladesh Adventist Nursing College (BANC).
The program began with a warm reception hosted by BANC, including a cultural performance presented by its students. The visit aimed to strengthen academic collaboration, professional exchange, and mutual learning between the two institutions.
As part of the program, several academic sessions were organized. Faculty members from the College of Nursing, IUBAT, conducted sessions on mental health and suicide prevention among young people, along with nursing careers and future opportunities in the profession. A faculty member from the Department of Public Health, IUBAT, also delivered a session on research methodology and career opportunities in public health.
The visit further included sports and recreational activities that encouraged interaction and engagement among students and faculty members of both institutions. Participants also visited the nursing laboratories of BANC to observe practical training facilities and gain hands-on learning experiences.
The exposure visit reflected the importance of academic cooperation, shared learning, and professional development in nursing and public health education. IUBAT expressed sincere appreciation to Bangladesh Adventist Nursing College for its hospitality and support throughout the program.
