Boishakhi Pitha Utshob 2026 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at IUBAT on April 29, 2026, organized by the College of Agricultural Sciences. The event brought a vibrant display of Bengali culture to life, attracting a large number of students, faculty members, and guests.
The festival featured a variety of student-run stalls offering traditional foods, sweets, and a wide assortment of authentic Bengali pithas, creating a lively and colorful atmosphere across the campus. A cultural session added further charm to the event, where students showcased their talents through energetic dances, melodious songs, and engaging performances.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Abdur Rab, Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT; Prof. Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor of IUBAT; Prof. Dr. Momtazur Rahman, Registrar of IUBAT; and Brig Gen Md Zahid Hossain, PhD (Retd), Controller of Examinations, along with other respected faculty members.
