The College of Nursing, IUBAT, in collaboration with Uttara Blood Foundation, organized an interactive workshop on “𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧,” bringing together students and healthcare professionals for an informative and engaging session on safe transfusion practices.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Sandra Rumi Madhu, Associate Professor and Chair of the College of Nursing, IUBAT, followed by the presidential speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor of IUBAT. The event was also graced by the presence of respected faculty members.
The workshop featured an insightful training session conducted by Dr. Abrar Kabir Shishir, focusing on essential aspects of safe blood transfusion practices. It included expert discussions, practical demonstrations, and an engaging quiz session where students actively participated and won prizes.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, certificate distribution, and a closing ceremony, marking a meaningful step toward enhancing knowledge and awareness of safe blood transfusion practices.
