Proud Moment for IEEE IUBAT Student Branch

Shariful Alam Shuvo, Human Resource Coordinator of the IEEE IUBAT Student Branch, has brought pride to the university by successfully representing the branch at the IEEE Bangladesh Section Vitality Enhancement Summit 2025.

The summit, which gathered 70 talented students from 15 universities across the country, served as a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.

In the “Share a New Idea (Pitch Competition)” on healthcare innovation, Shuvo and his team—comprising students from IUBAT, University of Dhaka, Daffodil International University, AIUB, and Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST)—secured the position of Second Runner-Up. Their project focused on advancing healthcare accessibility, reflecting a strong commitment to addressing real-world challenges.

The university expressed its profound gratitude to mentors Dr. Khadiza Akter (Counselor) and Dr. Md. Shouquat Hossain for their invaluable guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support, which played a pivotal role in this achievement.

This recognition stands as a testament to the dedication, innovation, and collaborative spirit of IUBAT students, further strengthening the university’s reputation on both national and global platforms.
