The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) of IUBAT— International University of Business Agriculture and Technology is proud to announce the successful signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, a renowned member of the IHG Hotels & Resorts Family which was held on 3 December, 2025 at IUBAT Premises. This collaboration marks an important step toward strengthening the industry–academia relationship and enhancing experiental learning opportunities for our students.

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. VK Karthi, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, along with key members of his leadership team. Representing IUBAT were our Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Abdur Rab; Treasurer and Director of Administration, Professor Selina Nargis; Registrar, Professor Dr. Md Momtazur Rahman; Associate Professor and Chair, CTHM, Dr. Mohammad Badruddoza Talukder; Coordinator and Esteemed Faculty Members of CTHM; Respected IUBAT team members; and officials,whose support and vision made this partnership possible.

This MoU aims to create meaningful opportunities for student internships, industrial training, collaborative projects, and professional development initiatives. By combining academic excellence with real-world hospitality experience, both institutions are committed to nurturing future leaders who can excel in the global tourism and hospitality industry.
