The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), IUBAT School of Computer Science and Engineering (ISCSE) organized the CSE Battle of Intellects – Summer 2026, an intra-university programming contest, on 9 August 2026. The competition brought together students from different batches to demonstrate their programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking in a competitive learning environment.

Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, Vice-Chancellor, IUBAT, and Dr. Utpal Kanti Das, Chairman, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Dean, School of Computer Science and Engineering, visited the contest and interacted with the participants. Professor Selina Nargis, Treasurer and Director of Administration, IUBAT, extended her valuable support toward the organization of the event.

The contest was coordinated by Dr. Rashedul Islam, Shahinur Alam, Ms. Suhala Lamia, and other faculty members of the CSE Department. Mr. Efat, a distinguished IUBAT alumnus, served as the Judge and Problem Setter, contributing his expertise to designing a challenging and engaging competition for the participants.

The event concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, recognizing the students who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the competition. Md. Shojibur Rahman Fahad secured the Winner position, followed by Md. Nahif Reza as 1st Runner-Up and Md. Barrun Kabir Rifat as 2nd Runner-Up. Mahabur Rahman Mahi and Nur Mohammad Srabon were recognized as Top Freshers, while Protyasha Sinha was named the Top Female Contestant.

The CSE Battle of Intellects – Summer 2026 provided an effective platform for students to challenge themselves, strengthen their programming and problem-solving skills, and foster a spirit of healthy competition among the CSE community.
