IUBAT sign MoU with Odoo to Launch Industry-Focused ERP Education Program

On 25th November, The International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) announced a strategic partnership with Odoo, a global leader in open-source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software at its permanent campus at Uttara, Dhaka. As an official Silver partner company, Metamorphosis Ltd was associated with this program. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during a ceremony at the IUBAT campus, marking the launch of a new initiative designed to equip students with cutting-edge digital skills and industry-ready expertise.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional requirements by integrating Odoo’s suite of business applications into the university curriculum. This partnership will provide IUBAT students and faculty with access to enterprise-grade software, specialized training resources, and potential internship opportunities, similar to Odoo's successful educational alliances globally.

The signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from all three organizations. From IUBAT Business School, Prof Dr Mozaffar Alam Chowdhury, Dean, CBA of IUBAT signed the MoU, along with Prof. Dr. Hasanuzzaman Tushar was also present over there. Where the delegation from Odoo Middle East included Kevin Farah, Head of Education MENA/CCA, and Sahar Dahsha, Education Consultant and Representing the local partner, Metamorphosis Ltd, were Managing Director & COO Sadiq M. Alam and Manager of Business Communication Md. Alimuzzaman Nayan were present at the program.

The day’s agenda began with a strategic meeting between the visiting delegation and the IUBAT Vice Chancellor and University Authority, followed by a campus tour and faculty networking session. The official MoU signing took place, where all attendees share their thoughts about digital technology adaption for coming days.

Following the ceremony, the partnership immediately commenced active engagement with a "Faculty Development Training" session held at the university's computer lab, led by Odoo experts.
